Apologies for the late post – better late than never!
Back last summer we managed to get the whole family together, meating up with my Mum and Dad in their Caravan, and my Sister and family who hired a wooden “wigwam” – a basic camping pod – at the lovely Grouse Hill Site, near Robin Hoods Bay.
The site is situated near Robin Hoods Bay, between Scarborough and Whitby – so plenty of options for the kids to explore some nice Sandy beaches – Although maybe not quite as hot as the South of France!
Plenty of things for the adults to enjoy to, and it brought memories of my childhood back as we explored on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway to Pickering – and saw some of the sets for Heartbeat at Grosmont
So – A great week, spent with the family, exploring some of the holiday locations from my childhood.
